Wie wij zijn
Singular is een spel van HHMEDIA GLOBAL BV, gevestigd in Rotterdam, KvK-nummer 83953426, adres Weena 690, 3012 CN Rotterdam. Wij zijn verantwoordelijk voor de verwerking van je gegevens. Vragen over privacy stel je via info@hhmediaglobal.com.
Kort samengevat
- Je speelt met een bijnaam en een pincode. Je echte naam, je geboortedatum, je locatie, je contacten en je foto's vragen we niet en slaan we niet op.
- Je pincode bewaren we alleen als versleutelde hash. Niemand bij ons kan hem lezen.
- Er zitten geen advertenties en geen analyse- of trackingdiensten in de app.
- We verkopen geen gegevens en delen ze niet voor reclame.

Een gehasht IP-adres is geen anoniem gegeven: het is een versleutelde vorm die we niet terugrekenen, maar wel als persoonsgegeven behandelen.
De microfoon
Als je de microfoonknop gebruikt, zet de spraakherkenning van je eigen toestel je woorden om in tekst. Singular neemt niets op, bewaart geen geluid en stuurt geen geluid naar onze server. Kies je in de app voor online herkennen, dan gebruikt je toestel daarvoor zijn eigen online dienst; die valt onder de voorwaarden van je toestel, niet onder die van Singular.
Met wie we gegevens delen
- Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) — bezorgt de pushmeldingen. Google ontvangt daarvoor je pushtoken en de tekst van de melding.
- Onze hostingpartij — MVPS (mvps.net), met de server in Cyprus, binnen de Europese Unie. Daar draaien onze server en database.
Met beide hebben we de afspraken die de wet vraagt. Waar gegevens buiten de Europese Economische Ruimte kunnen komen (bij Google), gebeurt dat op basis van de standaardcontractbepalingen van de Europese Commissie.
Hoe lang we gegevens bewaren
- Accountgegevens: zolang je account bestaat.
- Serverlogboeken: 14 dagen.
- Herstelcodes: tot ze verlopen.
- Na verwijdering van je account: zie hieronder.
Je account verwijderen
Je kunt je account altijd laten verwijderen. Hoe dat gaat en wat er daarna nog bestaat, staat op singulargame.hhmediaglobal.com/account-verwijderen/. Kort: je bijnaam, pincode, herstelmailadres, toestelkoppeling en pushtoken verdwijnen. Je uitslagen blijven bestaan onder "verwijderd-" plus een nummer, zodat de ranglijst van een afgelopen seizoen niet verandert. Ze staan dan niet meer onder je bijnaam, maar zijn wel nog gekoppeld aan je rechercheursnummer.
Je rechten
Je mag je gegevens inzien, laten verbeteren, laten verwijderen, de verwerking laten beperken, bezwaar maken, en je gegevens in een gangbaar formaat opvragen. Stuur je verzoek naar info@hhmediaglobal.com met je bijnaam en rechercheursnummer (te vinden onder Profiel). We reageren binnen een maand. Ben je het niet met ons eens, dan kun je een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Leeftijd
Singular is een moordmysterie en is bedoeld voor spelers van 16 jaar en ouder.
Beveiliging
Alle verkeer tussen de app en onze server gaat versleuteld over HTTPS. Pincodes en herstelcodes staan alleen als hash opgeslagen, toestel-id's gehasht. De inhoud van toekomstige speldagen staat versleuteld in de app en wordt pas op de dag zelf ontgrendeld.
Wijzigingen
Als we deze verklaring aanpassen, zetten we de nieuwe versie op deze pagina met een nieuwe datum. Bij een wezenlijke wijziging laten we het in de app weten.

In short
- You play with a nickname and a PIN. We do not ask for or store your real name, date of birth, location, contacts or photos.
- Your PIN is stored only as an encrypted hash. Nobody at Singular can read it.
- The app contains no ads and no analytics or tracking services.
- We do not sell data or share it for advertising.

A hashed IP address is not anonymous: it is an encrypted form we do not reverse, but we treat it as personal data.
The microphone
When you use the microphone button, your own device's speech recognition turns your words into text. Singular records nothing, keeps no audio and sends no audio to our server. If you choose online recognition in the app, your device uses its own online service for that, under your device's terms, not Singular's.
Who we share data with
- Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) — delivers push notifications. Google receives your push token and the notification text.
- Our hosting provider — MVPS (mvps.net). Our server and database run there, in Cyprus, inside the European Union.
We have the agreements the law requires with both. Where data may leave the European Economic Area (with Google), this happens under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
- Account data: as long as your account exists.
- Server logs: 14 days.
- Recovery codes: until they expire.
- After you delete your account: see below.
Deleting your account
You can have your account deleted at any time. How, and what remains afterwards, is explained at singulargame.hhmediaglobal.com/account-verwijderen/. In short: your nickname, PIN, recovery email, device link and push token are removed. Your results remain under "verwijderd-" (deleted) plus a number, so the ranking of a finished season does not change. They no longer carry your nickname, but they do remain linked to your detective number.
Your rights
You may access, correct and delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a common format. Send your request to info@hhmediaglobal.com with your nickname and detective number (shown under Profile). We respond within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the authority in your country.
Age
Singular is a murder mystery intended for players aged 16 and over.
Security
All traffic between the app and our server is encrypted over HTTPS. PINs and recovery codes are stored only as hashes, device IDs hashed. The content of future game days is stored encrypted in the app and only unlocked on the day itself.
Changes
If we change this policy, we publish the new version on this page with a new date. For a material change we will let you know in the app.
